I would do this, but suggest a place within 2 minutes of my place, preferably walking distance. She's never been to his place so wouldn't ask directly, but she needs to put some skin in the game and earn him back.

Personal rule I never answer the phone in any capacity after about 10 pm. I'm either intoxicated, out with another chick, inside of another chick, or catching up on sleep. Nothing good can come of answering the phone in any of those situations.

Also, answering that message is the logical answer. Sometimes the best play is to just do the opposite of what is logical. If you don't answer, her hamster is in overdrive like "wow wtf did I just send him."
