Opinion on nose piercings

What's everyone's opinion on them? Seems like over half the chicks I see on tinder have them. I personally find it very unattractive, why do girls want attention drawn to that specific part of their nose?

Realized that after my ex and I were through that was one of the first things she did. Never let her get one when we were together.

Ps I never understood how a boyfriend/girlfriend could forbid the other oartner from doing something... Just seems tyrannical. It would be a huge turn off if my gf told me I was forbidden from getting an eyebrow piercing. In fact I would immediately break up with her.

i guess i should rephrase that. She never got one while we were together because i let her know every time she brought it up that I think they look retarded. I specifically remember once I told her "go ahead and get one but to me you will be less attractive". honest truth

True. There's nothing wrong with honesty. So I don't think you were exhibiting traits of tyranny. Telling her straight up " I would find you less attractive, but you have to right to do whatever you want" is cool. Just when guys or girls are like "i forbid you from doing xyz" that's when I would say do xyz just to prove that you have a right to autonomy and self decision making. So if a girl "forbid" me from something I would deliberately do it, and then break up with her as a testament to my right to action.

Does that make any sense dk?

Makes perfect sense, I can totally see what youre saying and I would do the same. I wasnt really focusing on that part of the statement when I typed it out, I was more focused on the fact that she got one right after we broke up. Part of the reason I made this post was to see if guys actually think nose piercings enhance a girls looks or detract from them. Because if the majority of guys dont like them then I dont get why girls get them (other than the fact that they are women and if they think its cute then thats all that matters to them)

What I don't like is when women have like 7 ear holes, and they are all full of piercings, and the lobes get all weighed down and distorted. Do guys really like that? I kind of doubt it. So why are they wearing them? Maybe it is to impress other chicks.

I think nose piercings of any type look dumb. I've never been a fan of body art on girls whether its piercings, tattoos, etc. My .02.

I feel like women also dress to compete against other women. Kind of like a "I'm better than you" factor mixed with "I'm desirable" type of thing.

My good friend is into those types of girls. They have like almost every body part pierced, big gauges, band shirts, random color dyed hair, and listen to either death core if not post-hardcore. Very "emo-y." I find these chicks to be very low quality.

In fact, if it weren't for this site I think I would have ended up similar to him. Thank God that didn't happen.

Nose rings will get you auto friend zoned by me... yuk. Not feminine or sexy imo.

Ears and maybe the tongue but that is it... and I dislike tattoos as well... I love skin.
