"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

It's all about a girl. I'm pretty sure she likes me, she holds eye contact, she laugh my jokes... ( lol i know some of them are pretty funny )... I'm NOT chasing her... she sometimes ask me to go out with her friends sometimes I accept sometimes not...

I was going to ask that girl out for a certain day of the weekend but she apologized because that day was already scheduled for her... because she had the wedding of one of her best friends... my question is should I wait a bit before asking for an other time...

I'm really interested into that girl... but I don't have any problem into controlling myself... I'm a very patient person... waiting for the "ideal" opportunity...

any suggestions ??

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

yep you have dilly dallied around to much, you should made a move sooner. and in future when a girl says she has plans that day, suggest another day, if she says no to that one aswell then thats your que to move on. it saves you the time your waiting now to ask her out again.

agree whole heartedly with the replies. Kid, I must ask you, what is your definintion of a don juan? I am not trying to be an ******* or anything, but we must grab the concept and really understand the whole concept of who we are, instead of trying to always get some quick fix. It goes without saying, if you have a tire and its flat you and put air in it today, and tomorrow its flat again, why keep putting air in the tire everyday when you can just get another tire and save yourself the headaches. You got me.

lol...

Just some precisions...
I'm not as close as you think to that girl...

I'm not necessarily into her circle of friends and she is
not into MY circle of friends... sometimes she asks me
to do something with her or I ask her ...

I'm NOT chasing her... I'm testing her.... before making
any move...

And about when I asked her out for the weeekend she
said " Oh I'm so sorry! I apologize.... One of the friends
of when I was young Is getting maried that weeked..."

Sometimes by adding more precisions it helps... :p
thank u for the replies :)

2 weeks

I suggest you wait two weeks then ask her out. Something not too complicated like playing billards, or a quick lunch (not the ultra fancy gizmo). If she refuses or doesn't offer an alternative, pass on and forget her.

If she offers an alternative, go along if it is acceptable. If she offers the big trap (see the post about the funny experiment in NYC), back out.
