Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

ok she says she goes in groups then breaks off to single.......she said she wants to get to know me and talk to me first b4 going out, dam doesnt' that mean she wants to LBJF with me? im not stressing off this girl, im going out with someone else tomorrow so im not really trippen off her, but in case this happens again, i wanna know how to handle this..thanks for ur help......she also said she wants someone who will put an effort into being with her,

how could i do that withouth being too AFC? push and pull? give her some attention then break off? thanks for ur help

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

you've been here since 2002...

regaurdless, my advice.

Maybe some karaoke. Its a fun group activity... I read a story here once about getting up and performing backstreet boys, do it really over the top. Great laugh, confident etc.

Now, instead of breaking off -which will be on her terms. DON'T break off. wow her friends, infact, sarge her friends. If you're getting no play, and it doesn't really look like she'll let you get play, sarge her friends.

She'll soon realise, group situations, you'll shine, she'll lose you very quickly. Time to give you want you want if shes to keep you.

What does she think will happen if you go out just the two of you?

I'd play hard ball with this girl and tell her if she won't go out with you alons that she should get back to you when she is, and leave her to decide. If she never calls, that's someone else you have weeded out in the dating game.

Just my two cents

Group dating isn't an option. If she doesn't want to do that then I agree with others... tell her to give you a call when you are ready to go out alone.

If she wants to go out in groups then thats fine - but that isn't dating.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

This is like the female equivalent of a sub-AFC. She's not so socially adept that she can even handle herself alone.

NEXT her.

No, it's not that. They're just extremely shy or conservative women.

When I was still a Christian, I ran into that. Women who be afraid to go on dates, because they were made to think that interactions that were *remotely* sexual (like drinking shakes at the same malt shop) were somehow bad. Btw, this happened with a 23-year old.

Well anyway, I'm glad I'm away from that, but that's another post.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
