Just been back online after a layoff. Messaged a woman after reading a great thread here about just asking women straight out online. Can't find it again, though.

Anyway, she's into Pink Floyd like myself.

Me."Fancy a drink and a chat about Floyd sometime? "

Her." would love to..
can you wait a bit longer? LIke two months after?

How would you respond to that?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Cut to the chase immediately. Tell her:

Sure. Give me your number and I'll text you mine in a few.


This way you've at least exchanged numbers. If she doesn't give her number or stalls? She's full of it. (Some do take a few days and just reply with their numbers) Leave the convo at telling her to give you her number and you'll text her yours. (After small talk on text tell her to send you a pic for your phone. (So you'll remember who she is. Don't tell her that.) Convo goes offline as soon as she leaves her number.

You may make small talk in the meantime but don't wait around. Spam other chicks. If in the future you're serious with someone else then don't respond. Or if you've got nothing to do at that point respond and meet up with her.


Again. If she doesn't leave her number for you to text her yours...Keep it moving and don't bother playing email tennis.

Be more smooth about asking for her #. Do it like this:

I'd like to talk to you sometime but you'll have to help me out by filling in the blanks. (xxx) - xxx - xxxx. :)

Works 90 percent of the time.
