Master Don Juan
This is something that happened 5-7 years ago and one of the foremost childhood issues still tearing at my mind.
So my mom made me with my dad, then she divorced him after I was born. When I was 4 she'd made a kid with a new guy, and then she moved in with him when I was 6 and married him some time. I think I was 9 when I pretty much interrogated her on why she got together with this new husband as the relationship was obviously a complete fvck-up and she admitted to me that it wasn't because she likes or loves him - she vaguely said that it was for support or something. But I don't think even that's the truth, because she had and has to support his low-intelligent dumb @ss, not the other way around.
Then she separated from him for three years when I was 16-19. Sometime during these three years, I got a phone call from my dad who told me my mom had sent him a letter saying she wants to get back together and that I also wanted that when she asked me. He told me not to mention this to my mom IIRC, which I wasn't planning on anyway. But when I years later brought this up because I wanted to know the truth, she said it was "nothing but fables and fantasies" that she would have sent such a letter.
Which one do you think is lying and most importantly why?
