"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'm actually in the same damn situation. This is how I intend to play it:

Since I know this girl has been in a relationship with the guy for 2 years, I'll just let her do her thang, BUT I will keep showing interest, and befriend her. But not so to the point where I'm essentially her emotional tampon, but just enough for her to think of me as a possible candidate. When finally she breaks up with her current BF, I move in.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

so, lets say YOURE someone better. are you going to miss out on what could be an OUTSTANDING connection, just so some random dude doesnt get his AFC heart broken?

bros before hoes has its place - WITH BROS. close friends! people you know and trust as your brothers keeper! not random dorks!

some GF/BFs you should leave alone, but with all due respect, you'll miss out on a lot of great opportunities in life if youre constantly worried about stepping on somebody elses toes.

Here's my situation.

Dude already has a girl in New Hampshire, but he has decided to get with the girl I want. So, he's cheating and sh*t and so that makes me wonder if I should try to take her or something.

Yesterday I had her sitting on my lap and I was whispering in her ear and stuff, being a sexual kinda dude anyways, so it makes me wonder wether she is capable of running off with a "better" dude when he comes around.

Well, the guy my oneitis was with was a nice guy. He was really popular, but turned pvssy once he hooked up. I've decided to not hook up with my oneitis and just keep on improving myself.

I've realized that this is the fork in the road and I either choose to go with my gut (go for oneitis) or my mind (stay on the path of improvment). I must keep the big picture in perspective, which is getting into a great college and leading a successful life. My oneitis, although I have feelings for her, will not get in the way of my dreams and that is final.

Yes, I cannot worry about stepping on other people's toes all the time, but I just realized that while it was a great point, it doesn't apply to me. I'm not worried about stepping on anyone's toes anymore. I just have my priorities straight so I don't trip over my own feet. It's all clear now....I'm backing down....

no...I'm not. I'm moving on.
