I don't know why, but I've realized I'm really attracted to emotionally stable, calm, mature women.

I'm talking about women in their 40s or even early 50s who are still very attractive. What draws me in isn't their looks first, it's their mind, and their emotional maturity. The physical attraction comes second. It's funny because younger women can definitely catch my eye physically, but that's usually where it ends. I don't really feel much beyond that.

With older women, though, I feel like there's an actual connection.
They're so much more grounded, feminine, and comfortable with themselves.
It's like really meeting with a woman.

I have a few women like that in my gym circle. Some are single, some are single moms, and honestly they're in incredible shape, better than plenty of women in their 20s. Also, I do think they would have way more sex experience.
They're just so calm and feminine that it drives me crazy.

If you've ever asked out or hooked up with an older woman, what was your experience like and how do you ask an older single woman to become FWB, like those I do met at my gym?

At best a woman does want sex but no strings attached aka an exit strategy. Of a woman offers you this it basically means she holds out for someone better. And ....

Older women basically think the same as younger women; they want the hot stud that makes them wet.

I don't find older woman on the whole any more mature, interesting, better at sex, etc than younger ones. I find those sorts of qualities to be totally individualistic and independent from things like age, ethnicity, income, etc.

Not for me thanks, I may appreciate their company or the fact that we both know that they are not the first choice so there are no expectations but beside that, I pass.

They cant create in me the same desire that younger ones do and for sure they cannot provoke me emotional attachment.

I reached the point in my late 30s that an average girl in her mid 20s turn me on more than a good looking woman my age.
They smell, taste and vibe differently, even simple things as eye contact give me total different feedbacks.

I find the sweet spot for me is between 24 and 27 right now.

Bro ive noticed this too. Older single moms are usually really chill ( relatively speaking). Only if they werent single moms...sigh.
To be fair older single moms had to grow up. They have to be somewhat mature in order to keep another thing alive.
Also the decrease in estrogen may help to keep the emotional fluctuations in check.
