Hey, I got this problem apparently. Asking out an older chiq, I had it a year ago too. So I ask them out, but all the time I feel like they're .. more experienced, and I'm not man enough for them. Really that's what it comes down to. Since chiqs usually date guys a couple of years older then they are, me being 3-4 years younger at my age (20) makes it rather freaky for me since they are 24-25. Do any girls or women on this board have an opinion about dating younger guys ? Or some guys ? Especially from my age or that did this when they were in their early twenties. I know the problem is in my mind, but if I could hear some of your experiences it might change how I feel about this stuff subconsciously. I had this problem last year when I wanted to date a girl that was older. But since then it didn't occure to me anymore since I dated chiqs of my age. So this popped up again, so I'm gonne fix it this time, with your help.

Charisma, you're on the right path. Women do not want a man they feel they have to coach through the dating/relationship process. In essence, if she does have to coach him, he's not a man. So treating her as you would any other woman is the way to go.

I don't think so either ANYMORE ! The 'oldest' one of them was 25, so that's a 5 year difference. They are not OLD, they are HOT ! But I thought I was reaching to far if I went for that, and acted un-me. Couldn't imagine they found us 20 year olds interesting enough to date. You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
