"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

this is a thread about old phone numbers and their time limit.

if you talk to a chick for a short period of time and nothing evolves,

do NOT wait months and then call her at midnite, her new boyfriend will not like it and if the chick had anything nice to say about you before, well now she doesn't.

this should be a "given" but i thought i would voice my concern.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

i thought most people did....
my rule is to get rid of the numbers when you decide not to talk to them anymore , that way you arent tempted to call them later.

honestly at midnite, what was the dude thinking?

I don't think I keep any old phone numbers lying around -- once I am done with them, I'm done with them. Even if I came across an old number at some point, I seriously doubt I would call it... too much can change over time and I think phone numbers have expiration dates like milk.

And to call at midnight... that's just stupid.

The evolution of the best time to call

On a related note... it used to be that the best time to call was about 7-9 pm for most people who work during the day.

But now, with unlimited cell phone minutes kicking in at about 9pm, it appears 9-10 pm is the best time to call a lot of people.

But midnight? Yow. I leave the ringer in my bedroom off, and turn off the cell phone at the end of the evening, so it doesn't matter. That's a good strategy to deal with late night phone calls.

I avoid calling old numbers unless I got to know someone well enough to justify it. Then it can be welcome and fun.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

It depends on the circumstances. If it's just some idiot who went cleaning out his little black book, found your number, and called at midnight, that's a time to be pissed off at HIM.

Sometimes if a girl is cheating, Guy #2 will call in the middle of the night, especially if he doesn't know that there's a Guy #1. But usually it's fairly easy to tell if that's the case or not (girl gets all suspicious, quiet voice, leaves the room with the phone, acts very strange). If it's a wrong number or just some moron, it's pretty easy to figure that out.

Not that easy to figure out Gio. I've got a couple little playerette friends, and they can play some shyt off reeeeal good. Women are better at this than us, thats why not giving a fvck is the best policy.

I've been with some damn manipulative girls, excellent liars, but they have never been that great at covering the late night call from the guys they are cheating with.

In any event, I tend to trust unless I have a reason not to. Has that gotten me burned a few times? Sure, but it's better than the alternative.

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

Not trusting at all, being constantly suspicious. Not giving the benefit of the doubt, always assuming the other person is cheating.

I don't do that, but I'm saying that you have a choice in a relationship. You can either trust a person unless they give you a reason not to, or you don't trust them at all. I choose to trust unless I've been given a reason to not do that. And I got screwed around on before, but I'm not going to spend my life hiring private investigators and hiding in the bushes.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
