Hi

Been texting a girl for a few weeks, and recently she's gone ultra distant.

She only replies/text me when I text her first and I feel like I have to provoke or initiate a response?

Am I wasting my time with this?

There can be a thousand reasons for her to do that, of course you first thought can be that she lost interest. Usually it is best to take your distance and let her come to you, then when she comes back act like she is doing now. Turns the whole situation around. There's no way to fix this by saying the perfect thing at a stage like this, only to pull back in this way and go on with your life.

What LuckyStrike said. You do the same. She pulls back 10 feet, you pull back a mile. Maybe she'll come back, maybe she won't. But chasing like a lost puppy isn't going to do much for you.

She's responding when you initiate, so ask her to meet up and try to escalate things in person. If she declines and doesn't counter, forget about her.

Either way stop initiating things and gving her attention unless it's to meet up or you're explaining what you're going to do to her.
