Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I'm 42 and both my parents are still alive. I couldn't imagine losing my mom at 10. I would have been completely lost if I were in his shoes. My father lost his mom at 15 and I believe his rough edges were due to losing his mom at such a young age. To this day my mom is my rock and best friend. May your friend be at peace now.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

My dad is like yours too, lost his parents when he was young. I didn’t have a good relationship with him. He passed 2 years and it still hurts me to lose him. Just wished he could have been a better dad and I could have been a better son.
