"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Okay, so I broke up with my GF a couple weeks ago.

I have to say, I feel SO MUCH more relieved now. While we were giong out, I had serious oneitis w/ her and I didn't really realize it. I cannot believe how much time I wasted with her. Dealing with all the drama bullsh*t..and being too p*ssy to see her go kept me CAGED in a situation that was ultimately detrimental to me.

So anyway, we finally DID break up (and it was REALLY because I finally saw that she had totally lost interest in me and wanted to date other people), and I was f*cking depressed for a while (like a few days).

But then, I started meeting other girls.

Now I realize how good it feels NOT to have a gf, at least not being attached to one! Rather than my focus being on the relationship, I can focus on myself, like working out, studying, making money, etc (of course, I should have been doing that ALL ALONG!)

Anyway, it's amazing how one minute I was depressed as hell about us breaking up, but now I wouldn't even start a relationshhip back up with her even if she came back and wanted to! The sex was not worth dealing with her annoying bullsh*t all the time. Anyway, it turns out she ended up getting in another relationship already with some other bloke, and I actually feel unfortuanate for the guy (sure, he might be f*cking her, but too bad I busted her virginity along time ago!)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

WORKEROUTER I'm looking forward to your field reports!
How old is your GF GIG? No, I'm not interested, but you said you took her to the prom. Either you're a 20 year old senior, or she's still in HS?
