"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

so many times, if i couldve driven to a girls house, i could get pusssy. honestly, i can think of three girls who would give me head right now if i drove over. i've read its just an excuse for yourself, but not being able to drive is killing my game. its pathetic really that i have to wait ten months after my bday (grounded from it...dont fail algebra, kiddos!).

anyways, to those djs that do drive...howd you get around things (get around! i'm on a roll!) like not driving before you got your license?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

You are making excuses for your failure. It's a poor one.

I don't drive. Therefore I either get a bus, train, taxi, or walk. It's rather simple.

If a girl only cares about you driving, she isn't worth being with.

You probably don't live in hick-town like a lot of people do. Where I live you usually live 5-10 miles away from the chick you want to be with, there are no taxis or buses, and you usually are ****ed when you can't drive. That being said I never use the fact I can't get a ride somewhere as an excuse, I believe in making solutions instead of excuses.

Edit: Also the US has a horrible public transport system compaired to the UK and england..

its not KILLING my game but it is def holding me back and i know exactly how you feel dan. ive got 7 months to go and im going out of my mind. how can you say its an excuse??? theres nothing you can do. sure most of the time you can get a ride but NOT ALWAYS. we dont live in a perfect world. it would be a lot more convenient if i had a car. me and my friend were gonna go to a club tonight. we were all set, except for the fact he wasnt sure if hed be able to borrow his moms car. turns out im sitting here typing this instead of grindin with some chicks. what can ya do??? i bet its easy to say its an excuse when youre the one driving;)

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

exactly!

i hate to make excuses, and i always want to improve my game, but its really a problem. even if you get a ride...its not jsut the two of you, and you cant park and jump in the backseat exactly. europe is less auto populated, and many people dont get them to they're older (or so i was told by my europe loving teacher). public transport is usually kinda nasty and cabs are rare around here and probably expensive...anyone got any fresh ideas?

Hate to break it to you but now days walking is out. Now I enjoy a good walk just as much as anyone else but when you live 10 miles away from someone and the place you want to go to is 15 miles away it's just impratical unless your planning to incorperate camping out on the side of a road as part of your date. Where I live some houses are as far as 1/2 miles apart. Walking might have been fine in the 1930s but now days the world moves a lot faster.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
