"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Girl I was talking to suddenly became B!tchy and never seemed interested keeping our conversations going , then my birthday went by and i heard nothing from her , so I cut of contact and ignored her.

Last night comes and she texts me

Her: do you hate me ?
Me:No, you just never seemed to want anything to do with me , so why should i bother?
Her: i know im sorry for being a jerk
Me: so, you get all moved an everything ? ( last time we talked she mentioned moving to a new place )
Her:i sure did
Me: so what made you decide to text me out of nowhere?
Her:i dunno, i think about you every day to be honest.
Me:lol, then why did you wait so long to text me ?
Her:i guess cuz i'm stupid lol
me: haha if you miss me so much what are you gonna do about it ?
Her:i dunno lol what you want me to do about it ?
Me:idk, maybe get your butt over here to see me

the rest is just ramble bs

and we did meet up and make out a bit

looking back on it I feel like I asked to many questions. the best part os it is , I had totally moved on , I did not care about her , and she just pops back up out of nowhere, lol not caring truly is the best policy

In my eyes everything from now on is just icing on the cake I feel like ive already got a victory

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Was this a girl you had been dating or at least banged? Was she showing interest before she got *****y or was she a disinterested girl you were trying to win over? And how long did you go NC before she caved?

we had gone on a few dates , and she had shown intrest , se even said things like , "is it strange that i miss you ? " and Ive made out with her , seen here tits , and her lady parts , but no pleasurable contact lol

she just dident seem to make much of a effort to contact me , and when i saw her in a club , she would have no desire to talk to me or anything so I decided to forget about her , and she came back lol

congrats cablecow, if only I had been aware of such knowledge when I was your age.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

It's good that you're learning the value of No Contact, but ideally, you dont want to make it seem like, "I stopped talking to you because you hurt my feelings."

Me: so what made you decide to text me out of nowhere?

You don't want to say things like that either. It worked in this occasion, but it's a bad habit.

Me:idk, maybe get your butt over here to see me
Yep. That's a good move right there.

Yep. Not caring is the key. It doesn't guarantee you more success. But on the occasions when you fail, you're not sitting around for days worrying about some random girl whose done nothing for you. These girls are mostly interchangeable. Don't worry about the 8 out of 10 who might reject you. Worry about the 2 out of 10 who are in your rotation.

I agree entirely , but for some reason i could not for the life of me think of anything to say , next time this happens ill go with something like " Ive been really busy lately" or something

I feel like she had high interest in me , she couldn't get enough of me when we started hanging out , but i think part of me making myself to available , and here going into a b!tch mood to me had a lot to do with it , and it was about two and a half to three weeks since our last text , and maybe a month of not seeing each other she claims she was thinking about me alot during that time

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I agree with this and what Iceberg said. Never get defensive or try to explain yourself to a woman, it never works.
