"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I’ve been reading these threads for a few weeks and have to admit – I HAVE HAD NO GAME – then I said F**K it, just do it, get some game, so I did and HOLY S**T, it’s working. The initial part that is, then I get stumped.

So here is my request for advice about what went wrong.

I got a few numbers within two weeks time, # 1 – waitress, # 2 – grocery store clerk, # 3 – cutie at the bar.

I got the waitress’s number before really studying DJ way of life so I screwed that up after a few conversations – no problem here, just confirmed I’m an AFC – not for long though.

Question is with # 2. Got number on a Thursday and called the following Wednesday. She said “I was wondering if you were ever going to call”. We chatted for about 10 minutes and she said she would call me back in a minute – which she did, quickly. I thought, right on, interest level is there. We talked for about 30 minutes 80/20. Vaguely set up a date for the following weekend (it was a 1 ½ weeks away, and seemed strange to set up a date with a chic 10 days in the future that I don’t even know without talking to again, so I said I’ll call next week and we’ll set it up). As we get off the phone she’s says call me anytime you like! I thought, cool again. This is where it confuses me, I went to the grocery store to get some things (really), and as soon as I walked in, there she was. She smiled said hi, and she talked about her hair for a minute, got busy working, so I said I’ll be back to chat when I’m finished. Did my thing and while I was checking out she yelled across 3 or 4 check out isles telling me I’m mean because I didn’t go through her checkout line. I took this as somewhat flirting and went and talked a few more minutes. I asked if she was going to be around that night, which she says yes. I told her to give me a call so we can set Friday up and she responds quickly with an OK and a smile. Here is the problem, this was Monday, she didn’t call, I called the next day (Tuesday), left voice mail. No response. Hmmmm, is this lack patience on my part, talked too much or what? Is it time to flush this number?

# 3 – haven’t called her yet and this is day 7.

I know this was long but wanted all details given.

All advice is greatly appreciated.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Call #3. Don't plan out when your going to call, do it when you have time! This isn't a chess game where you have to plan out every move... sometimes being spontaneous is your best bet.

If #2 doesn't call you back, next her. You called her and left the message so you did your part. If you see her again in the grocery store act like nothing ever happened... Don't ask her why she didn't call, though. From my experience, that shows some insecurity.

if you don't hear from the chick for a while...
then call again ..
and be layed back ..
and casually say in a flirty manner
"hey... wats up.. how come you are so uncontactable! ..:) "
just be cool and take it easy...
you'll be just fine...

CONGRATS on scoring those 3 numbers...takes some balls to do that ..well done!

The chick in the Grocery store couldn't have made it more obvious to you.

Nice move on taking a different isle.

Again it's not a rules thing - it's guildlines on calling and when. Feel free to break them - you've got to adapt.

Call them back and arrange a date - don't mention anything about them not calling you.

If they don't call you back a 2nd time - next.

Move on. get some new numbers.

Definatley going for more #'s...

I'm heading out to this college bar in a few to play some pool. Is it true the younger ones say, 20 - 25 are attracted to men say... hmmm - 30?

You guys rock! Wish I would have found this website years ago.

AFC for now.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
