Gawd,leave it up to women to be innovative in this way.Just saw a piece on the news about compensated dating,the reason most often given:not desperation or poverty but just to buy cosmetics,cell phones and designer clothes.
Most compensated dating is being performed by teens,this is proof of the trend towards instant gratification and theory of entitlement that will carry towards their more mature years.
Of course what will they do after ,they will choose either some fatso with money right off the bat or leave their husband/bf for some fatso with money cause they are too lazy to work together for a future.

compensated "dating" has been popular here in japan for a long time. It's pretty much how some "students" can afford $500 luis vuiton bags.

They even have "clubs" where guys pay fifty bucks to get in, pay a girl for a "conversation" and where she decides if they will leave the club or not.

this is not a front for prostitution, as many guys are so AFC in japan they are more than willing to pay a high school or college girl for twenty minutes of conversation.

Hostess bars are also popular, where guys will go pay hundreds of dollars just to sit and drink, and talk with a hot looking girl.
