This is really cool and is finally being produced at scale commercially.
Thin, super durable and flexible solar strips that can literally produce power from any light source...a candle, a light, the sun, even the moon(although it would take a long time to charge) and can be embedded in every day products to produce electricity that can be used to power things such as remote controls, watches, phones, bike helmet lights, flashlights, etc...
The possibilities are almost endless.
Basically almost anything that uses normal batteries can be replaced by this and they claim in a decade or two, kids growing up "will laugh that we used to use charging cables for things" similar to how kids now laugh about how we used dial up Internet(at least the ones who even know about it).
