"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Since I'm brand new I'll say hi to everyone and give a background on my situation. I'm 21, just out of college, and bored as hell. Up until graduation (last November) I was having no problem picking up women, but since then it seems that my motivation for everything has been waning. I don't know if it's a normal thing that I'll get over eventually, or if this is the culmination of a lifetime of procrastination and immaturity. Either way, I don't like it and I want to change.

I work from home, and I think spending 12 hours a day in front of the computer in my my boxers did a lot to kill my drive. I've recently relocated to a coffee shop downtown by the local university campus. Since then I've picked up two women, so there's some improvement. I've also gotten back into cycling and working out every day, which has shown a huge increase in my mood. However it's not enough, and I'm still having trouble increasing my drive - it takes a LOT of convincing just to get out of bed in the morning, not to metion actually doing anything.

I stumbled upon this site while looking for ways to improve my character, and I'll admit that it's a very inspiring site. I really have no problem with confidence, but this wallowing in self-whatever it is has got to go. Anyone here had a similar problem that they overcame, or perhaps some tips they'd like to share?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

The exercise will help dramtically, and the number one thing you need to do which will send your will to Do Something through the roof is stop whacking off. The drive to procreate is greater then the drive to eat, and once you stop wasting your pimp juice it will make you do something.

do you smoke weed?

Occasionally, like once every couple of weeks. I don't think that's enough to have a real effect though...

Haha, yeah I should try that - I usually whack it once just before bed to help me fall asleep faster, but I don't think I need it, persay. It's worth a shot.

Here's a little something to think about:

This life you have right now only happens once, and will not come around again. As you get older you will not be able to do a lot of the things you can do now. When you close your eyes, that's it, so you won't be able to do those things then. If you don't see it now you wont ever see it. Now imagine you life at 65 if it continues like this, and know that if it does it will be as if you were here for no reason what so ever.

motivation

I never was great at giving pep talks but here it goes...

I think everyone, at least once in their life, goes through that time when they ask themselves: "What the hell is the point to all this?" And the problem lies in this: The power of your WILL HAS NO AMBITION TO FEED IT". In other words, what are your hopes and dreams in life? You have to ask yourself what is important in your life---What do you crave in your life? Loving from a woman--financial success--having kids. Dreams such as these is what keeps the strong going everyday. It what makes a guy who has low level feel better about himself becuase he knows that in time his dreams will be realized..So anyway--figure out whats important in life--ask yourself why did you go to school for?

---Hopes this helps!

I think that pretty much sums it up. Since it's the weekend and all, I'll probably end up spending a few hours figuring out the next step. I did notice that during college my focus was on graduation, and when it crept up on me I didn't have much left to think about.

I'm mulling around the idea of finding another job too, although that's going to be a little tougher. I'm the ONLY employee where I work, and I can't leave without feeling some guilt at ditching my boss.

We'll see how it goes. I appreciate the advice, this board is definetly one of the friendlier boards I've joined, and that's saying a lot :)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
