Don Juan
Since I'm brand new I'll say hi to everyone and give a background on my situation. I'm 21, just out of college, and bored as hell. Up until graduation (last November) I was having no problem picking up women, but since then it seems that my motivation for everything has been waning. I don't know if it's a normal thing that I'll get over eventually, or if this is the culmination of a lifetime of procrastination and immaturity. Either way, I don't like it and I want to change.
I work from home, and I think spending 12 hours a day in front of the computer in my my boxers did a lot to kill my drive. I've recently relocated to a coffee shop downtown by the local university campus. Since then I've picked up two women, so there's some improvement. I've also gotten back into cycling and working out every day, which has shown a huge increase in my mood. However it's not enough, and I'm still having trouble increasing my drive - it takes a LOT of convincing just to get out of bed in the morning, not to metion actually doing anything.
I stumbled upon this site while looking for ways to improve my character, and I'll admit that it's a very inspiring site. I really have no problem with confidence, but this wallowing in self-whatever it is has got to go. Anyone here had a similar problem that they overcame, or perhaps some tips they'd like to share?
