"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Funny I should stumble onto this site. I'll be 30 in a couple weeks, and it's sad that I don't even have a basic understanding of a woman's psyche. Seriously, I've been in relationships before, even have a kid, and I don't have a clue how a woman's thought process works.

I'm hoping this place might give me some insight.

Every relationship I've ever had has been a failure. My son's mother, lived with her for about 3 years and those were the most miserable 3 years of my life. My last girlfriend, after about 8 months of being with her, she starts acting wierd. I end up breaking up with her, even though I was, and still am, very much in love with her. Come to find out several months later from her best friend that the reason she started acting wierd with me is because she was still in love with her ex boyfriend... almost a year later and I couldn't make her forget about the guy... talk about making a guy feel like an absolute loser.

Anyhow, I've gotten to the point to almost completely give up on relationships, women, etc. except for the undeniable fact that life is much, much sweeter when you have a woman's affection. It's something I can't live without, I wouldn't want to, and it's something I can't give up on.

So what it boils down to, is that I must be doing something terribly wrong that prevents me from keeping a woman interested in me.

My friends joke around that I must be really lousy in bed.. and maybe I am for all I know. But then again, if I was, they why have I had two ex girlfriends come back to me just for sex when they've already been involved with someone else (I know that makes them sluts and me no better, but who can turn down free pvssy? - the point I'm trying to make is that if I were lousy in bed, why would they want to continue to have sex with me after breaking up?)

Anyhow like I said, I have no clue, it's all a big mistery to me. For years I've always thought I'm doing the right things, being romantic, respectfull, giving her her freedom, etc... yet I can't seem to keep a healthy relationship with a woman... yet my friend, who treats his girl like crap, cheats on her like it's an Olympic sport and he's trying out for Team USA, has her eating out of his hand. I'm not kidding either. This girl absolutely worships him.

I don't get it, and like I said, hopefully I'll get some intelligent advice here.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

hey,

You've found a good place to start. I was very much like you to start off, put yourself back in control and practice what you learn.
