"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Ok I would like to consider myself somewhat of a veteran of this site, and I have read all of the bible, learned and implemented many things from it. I feel like I know what I am doing, but at the moment I am just a bit unsure. I have no problem talking to girls, esptablishing kino and some mystery, as well as having a good sense of humor and timing. I never had a problem with the humor, but I used to be an AFC, so some tendencies still pop up here and there.

So now to the question,

I just met this girl in my first period class, and she is like a HB8.5, seriously and I have fairly tough standards. Well I have talked to her for a couple days now here and there, made her laugh quite a bit, talked to her about some things while still maintaining some mystery for now. I even did just very light kino, keep in mind I have only known her for about 4 days and where in class, so its only light kino. But I watch her body language and she seems open and has smiled on a occasion as she comes in a makes eye contact with me. So I know some of the signals are there. Now I want to go in for the number close and call.

1. I just want to know what is the appropriate length of time of knowing her before trying this.

2. Also what would be something you would say in this situation to not make it seem awkward that I am asking her to hang out/go out while not knowing her that much at all.

I would appretiate if someone could give me a very short diolouge example and not just say ask her. Just something so I can see what you mean, not like I am going to repeat it word for word.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Man you are too worried, if you got your sh1t together and youve already been talking to her for a while just go for it...I got this hb8's number in my 3rd period the 1st day I met her..we just had a normal conversation then toward the end of the period I was like "man its almost time to go, lemme get your number and Ill call you sometime." (as a statement, not a question) its kind of initiating that you want to continue the conversation but you cant because the bell is about to ring...its not that big a deal to number close, honestly
