Some things to never say and their better alternatives.
“I’m sorry.” If you genuinely did screw up then simply say “My mistake.” or “I’ll fix it.” If you piss her off and then beg her to forgive you then you’ll only draw her contempt along with her wrath.
“What’s wrong?” How many of us have asked this one and gotten a “Nothing I’m fine?” If she’s throwing a *****fit for no reason then man up and ask “What the hell is wrong with you?” Show that you’re dominant and that you don’t approve of her behavior. (Disclaimer: If she’s in obvious real anguish be gentler.)
“Yes you do look horrible in that dress.” Don’t say this unless of course you enjoy sleeping on the couch. “I don’t know let me see how you look without it on.” is a response with clear possible benefits
“I love you.” Many of us have jumped the gun on this one and shot ourselves in the ass. Simply say “I’m glad you’re here with me” or any other possible variation. Hold her close and look deeply into her eyes and she’ll get the real message without being scared off.
