Never get your hopes up after getting a number

I am 28 (grad student) and recently got the number of this cute 21-22 yearold undergrad at my school.

To make a long story short, we spoke one other time before I asked for the number and things seemed well. She even said, "I always think of you when I am in the library (we first sort of met in the library last semester)

Well I called her 2X (left my phone # the second time) and she never called back.

She must of even told her friends about me since the friends she would sit with in the cafeteria would look at me sometimes. (if this meant anything good?)

What went wrong? Who knows............

I am a little dissapointed about this ordeal, but trust me I am not wallowing in self-pity as I am already over it.

My point is, women are flaky and seem to lose IL very quickly over something trivial. DON'T EVER GET YOUR HOPES UP WHEN YOU GET THE PHONE NUMBER OF A CHICK YOU LIKE AND WHO SEEMS TO HAVE HIGH IL. YOU CAN VERY WELL END UP DISSAPOINTED.

Who gives a fvck about her friends and rather or not she called back, what matters is you and your game

Stop calling girls so many times and if you ARE going to leave a message, please dear god make it brief and to the point

Most girls who hang out in libraries are anti-social

The age thing may be a problem with her (depends on the girl though) ... most h0s are looking for older and more mature men; however, most are 10x more stupid, flakey, and immature until they reach their mid-20's .... so y bother . Unless her IL is very high and you got game and can get some a$$ then get it on ...

Get some balls man ! No need to be nervous ... just have to get comfortable around them

By what you said before stating these 3 things, I can almost guarantee that it had nothing to do with it.

What is your rep at this school? If you're known as a womanizer of sorts, my guess is she's testing you to see how many times you'll call... just to make sure you're REALLY interested and that she won't wind up getting screwed. (pun intended)

I met this girl back in september. She was hot, former pagent winner... very outgoing etc... really into me. Or so it seemed. everything she said pointed to yes but everything she did pointed to no.

as much as we talked and kept in touch over the month that we were getting to know each other, we hung out maybe 3 times. I was busy and she was busy.

any dates we made were always broken by her and I told her after the 3rd time (3 strike rule, with me.... if the excuses are legit) that I'm out. Cya... bye.

last week she emailed me and acted as if we had talked last week. this was over 4 months ago. Hey hunny how are you? I've been sooo busy. I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to hang out.... bla bla bla... work has me tied up... bla bla..

she made it sound like the only reason we weren't getting together was that she was TOO BUSY, when in fact I'm the one who cut her off and never called her again.

I'm telling you, some women are retarded.

My reply to her email was this:

Well, a girl who does not call back in not interested IMO.

I only called her twice and both my messages were only around 8-10 seconds long.

THe way I see it, by me leaving my number, the ball is in her court.

When I see her in the cafeteria, I will not be rude or bitter but will not go out of my way to talk to her.

I do the same ... in fact, most of the time, the sh1t they come up with when you get a response after asking them out is so stupid and pointless, its just funny as hell ... Ill laugh at em too

True story:
I asked a chick to grab a bite with me after class one day and she goes "no, i cant now, ive gotta go watch my 12:30 soap and dont wanna be late for it .... so , sorry, maybe some other time" .......... instead of shying off to her, I laughed in her face and told her to forget it and that she needs to get some better excuses for rejecting guys because that was Pathetic and that she's a waste of time if thats what she does every day... then just walked off ....

i'll admit that i too get worked up when i get a #, especially if she's spanking hot. but i do realize that the majority of times, nothing will happen when you get the #.
i've had a couple of experiences where i had strong interactions w/ girls and their interest level was obviously high. despite that and getting the #, i was never able to get a hold of 'em.
