Short but sweet: beforehand (or during) I feel confident that I could get with anyone, can be the centre of attention in a huge setting etc basically I feel like the man. Then after I just feel dirty and shi*ty. I know the psychology of it and how it works but yet at least once a day I find myself doing it. I think I need to spend my time doing productive things rather than 'chilling' because that usually leads to one thing :/

Don't really know what I'm looking for here but had to get it off my chest.

Better than getting it "on" your chest....

I had a few false starts when I tried to quit. I think you should try to quit the porn first.. Then, just visualize about girls/etc without the porn if you can't go cold turkey completely. I got to a point there I just realized I hd to stop and put that energy in meeting real girls vs Porn/etc. I lost track of how long it has been. I have had situations in the past where I went a month and then started again but now I feel no desire to start up again.

Why would you feel dirty? It's yours, you can do what you like with it!

There are times when rubbing one out is a good idea. Let's say you've just broken up with your gf, you're lonely, and you're starting to get the idea that you should probably call up "the best thing that ever happened to me and maybe we should give it another shot."
Just go and sort yourself out and then you'll remember that she was "that cold b!tch who made my life hell!"

All things in moderation, but if you find yourself ducking off to the toilets every hour or so at work, then you've probably got a problem...
