The point of this thread is to give tips to those people who live in special conditions and can't train that frequently.
Or having trouble getting enough nutrients because environment where they live:

Like living in school campus, having a busy life or like my case are in army...

In my situation now it's time I gotta train my squad more and more combat training.
That means more time away from gym that I've been able to hit when living at the base.

Anyone can spot my training problems: not getting enough food, rest, and training...

We eat there 3 times a day and a volunteer evening snack, but 3 meals + couple slices of bread is too little in a day.
I've been consuming much whey and maltodextrine along with glutamine and creatine and got some muscle addition.
It's hard enough but it's even harder when we are going to the wild.

I'm planning to take supplements along with protein bars and cans of tuna with me and mix some drinks in those plastic bags used for freezing since I can't wash a mixer up that well out there when we are camping somewhere in forest...

Also at the base I don't have a fridge to have extra food.
So my extra food is based on tuna and nutrients.

Does anyone have tips on what to eat there if you don't have a fridge since tuna is getting little boring?
And what to do when I have a combat camp week and can't train?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

As the weather gets colder and you have high outdoor activity levels, you will want to consume more fats. I might bring a jar of peanut butter or an alvocado. I once read of a Sherpa surviving for two weeks in the snow on one jar of mayonaise.

Haha that mayonaise story is tight!

Ahhh, peanut butter!!
How did I forgot that?
- Maybe because we don't consume peanut butter like you do in America, hehe

That's really true that when winter is at the door, body has to consume MUCH more energy to keep itself warm so I have to get more calories and peanut butter is a great idea.

More tips and ideas please.

When I was in the army and we went out on manouevres, the staples in my kitbag were always mixed nuts, raisins, ginger biscuits, peanut butter as stated earlier, avocadoes (when I could get 'em), chocolate bars (no chance of getting fat, get the really dark high-cocoa chocolate and some Mars Bars for when you're out on patrol at 2am), milk powder, this is also circumstances where powder-based nutrition is very helpful, get some whey, MRPs, hell, even weight gainer..

All of the above keeps without a fridge.

We also had palouze, but I doubt you get it where you are.

That's all great to have yes!
Thanks.

Milk powder... hmmm.
I was searching it on bodybuilding.com and nutrient values look great. Damn I think it would be great addition to whey/carb/creatine mixture.

Any other tips, tricks or ideas to share?

I never bothered taking extra supps out bush, it just made the pack heavier! hehe

I increased muscle mass a lot during my first year in simply from the training and enormous quantities of food we were shovelling down, and then when we went bush you'd quickly lose any stored bodyfat... it was more or less like a constant bulking/cutting cycle - bulking when on base, and cutting when out bush!

Personally I had more important things to worry about then eating right, like when I could next get some gonk or at least get a brew on.

I can have water as much as I want for drinking. That's not a problem.

Washing dishes is more problematic, it's possible yes, but when you are 10 days out there and you don't get your mixer that good washed up there's a risk of getting some nasty bacteria and gettin sick.
Have you ever left your mixer there for a day not washed properly?
