"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Just a little background info.

I'm Male 22 years old. Started College a year ago. I've been with a couple of girls, but not as many as I would want too (I'm sure everyone is in this same position, heh). Before coming into College I was in rehab. Before rehab my #1 priority was to party my second was probably to get girls, which I really didn't get many. Now that I'm clean/sober I haven't hooked up with any chicks from college (I thought it was going to be a piece of cake, but if you don't do sh*t to get them I'm sure they won't come to you). I'm somewhat introverted, lack some social skills, but I'm not 100% quite all the time. I try to talk to people once in a while.

I have some questions...

How important is your physical appearance? I was in OK shape when I started college but I've gained some 15-20 pounds since I came. I'm trying to get fit right now, but should I wait until I get fit to start trying to hook up with girls?

Something that I really don't know how to do is get a girl interested in me. How can I do that? Most of the girls I've hooked up in the past took the initiative, and I just followed. How can I get her to keep talking to me or interested in me? Any suggestions? I'm sure you need some sort of "hook" to lure her, and to keep her from wanting more of you..

I'd appreciate any suggestions...

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Oh yeah another thing is that since I'm in college and away from home I won't have a car until January. Should this slow me down? I'm sure it shouldn't but what could I do with a girl around my school's dorms? Any suggestions? If it's hard already to set up a date... it'd be much harder to say "pick me up as well", don't you guys think?

NO.

It sounds like you lack confidence.

Why put yourself above AFCs, other newbies. . . It serves no purpose to you. Admit you have a problem with women. You've been to rehab, you probably know that's step 1.

Start from scratch at this point.

There DJ Bible at the bottom. also plenty of information at www.sosuave.net ... Mystery's book, David DeAngelo's books... You name it.

Material is one. Then you gotta go out and practice it. Reading alone will teach 1% of all things, practice is the other 99%... Lucky you in college. You can practice from 6 in th emorning to 12 at night.
