"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Ok so about 4 months ago i found the girl im going to marry. 100%. we were definetely meant to be and shes absolutely gorgeous. We both agree that were going to get married about a year or 2 from now and we planned our lives together and We are both 17. Anyways, i have a serious problem in our relationship. I literally worry about her so much that i cant even enjoy being with her. i know its really unhealthy and everything but i dont know what to do. Im mostly worried that one day she'll leave me or cheat on me. Even though she hasnt given me one reason to believe that. she re-assures me EVERYDAY that she never will. I cant trust her at all...and i have no reason for it. By the way we spend Every second together, she never hangs out with friends or anyone. And shes done so much for me to prove that she'll never leave...Like, changing her number so theres no chance she would talk to guys, deleting her facebook and twitter, and we even got 500$ promise rings. i dont know what to do but all i know is, i want to be happy with her and enjoy every second together. Just a little info, i had a rough child hood and my dad says i have trust issues because no one was really there for me as a kid and everyone walked out on me so thats probably why. But please give me some good advice so i can get over this....
Thanks Alot

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You are 17. Here is the best advice you could ever receive: get the thought of marriage -- with anyone -- out of your mind. Live, grow as a person, resolve your underlying trust issues, get an education. Get married only after you become a man and that won't be until you're nearing 30.

also, she may seem like 'the one' now, but wait till a few years down the line, she will annoy the hell out of you and youll get bored, youll wanna try some strange.
Trust me, Ive had 3x 'the one's all while i was younger, and a few oneitis cases inbetween.
Now, though im free single and happy.
