need help with my 1st car

im thinking about getting a Citroen C2 1.4L FURIO for my first car, heres the main specs:

) 75 BHP
) 0-60mph 12secs
) Insurance Grp 3
) 50 MPG
) 44% value retained(3yrs/36,000mls)
) All these as standard:
--> Central Locking
--> Power Steering
--> 4 Air Bags
--> Immobiliser
--> Remote Locking
--> CD Player
) Optional:
--> Air Con (£500)
--> Alloy Sheels (£300)

Brand New: £8000 - £9000
2nd Hand: £5500 - £7500

Im really liking all of the stuff above but im worried about the look of the car, i really like it but ive only seen one guy so far driving one, the rest of the time its always old woman So my question is:

Is the Citroen C2 a GOOD/NICE/COOL looking car for a guy?

Pretty cool looking. My only complaint is how little power it has. 75 HP and 0-60 in 12 seconds, that is slow, but hey 50 MPG is hella good.

$16,000 for a little car like that is kinda a ripoff. You can get a Scion tC or Civic or etc., something bigger and with more power for a little bit more money.

bob52, are you european? I ask this because no american would be caught in such a small car!

my guess is that you are european since you don't care about the power or size of the car. In that case our opinions don't matter since our needs in terms of cars are different than that of europeans. Europeans don't drive such big distances as americans so there is no need for big powerful cars. Plus in europe they love small cars.

I say go for it if that is your style. If you can get something bigger and more powerful (just plain manlier) for around the same price then take that instead. Honestly that car looks like something a woman would drive.

He's probably from England, based on the fact that he gave the price in pounds.
I don't know what's considered a cool car over in Europe, but in the states, people would die laughing if they saw that car roll up next to them. Nobody in the U.S. drives a car that gets 50 mpg and only has 75 hp, excpet for the few who have one of the civic hybrids.

yea thats what i was thinking. about 80% of the people i know has a car that gets 18 mpg or worst and has 180+ HP
