"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Well, today I stepped into this big place with lots of books (the sign said "library") for the first time in my 2 years of college.

Talked to this girl who seemed to be reading some book with a complicated title. Unfortunately it didn't go anywhere, since she was studying for some test (I offered to help, then she realised I didn't know anything about whatever subject she was studying).

Anyway....it was my first time trying to pickup in the library (I never went to library at high school). It failed, but I'm willing to try again, since one of my new year resolution was to "try new things".

Anyone got advice for this first-time library person? Are college girls who study in the library actually studying, or would they welcome an interruption?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'd say grab a book and walk up as you normally would. This way you look like you have something to do. Sit down with her and start your rap. If she seems to busy, tell her you didn't mean to bother her but could you call her sometime.

I've never tried a PU at a library either.

:D i think you'll make an ass of yourself if you try to seduce her in her "territory".

some advice i got right now :

1- pick up girls who are browsing or are looking for books, you go ahead and ask her "where can i find this ..." or "are u the girl who lives at dormA..." i think best thing to do is drag her out of the library, tell her "let's go outside, plenty of unshin". from my past experiences u cannot disturb people while they are studying

2-don't offer help for books you have knowledge about

3-KNOW YOUR CAMPUS, that is where the parties and events (sports, cultural, music whatever) are, so in case a girl is really DEEP in her studies, you can just say directly : "hey, i know the guy who organizes partyA, this is going to be huge, bla bla bla, and we are trying to get as much people as possible, it's tomorrow at midnight". you can also drop with a nice SMILE the "u seemed like a cool girl, so i thought that would interest you". done in 5 minutes. then go to next chick. u'll have at least a couple of them who will show up.

4-there are some girls who go to the library because they have 30 minutes to kill between two classes, you notice them quite easily, they are the easiest to pick up since they just wander around. i guess this is just like college standard pickup

ok have fun

also

5- don't follow tyte eyes 's advice, it really looks like high school chick seduction technique, it reminds me of girls who wants to get noticed and try to be in the field of vision of the guy while trying to be busy, this is f*cked up because every normal person knows there is something fake going on :D. and even telling her "i didn' want to bother" is BS because any college girl would know you're hitting them. you're coming as a guy who had a technique . you're not natural. you won't get laid. unless you're targeting a nerd chick with no social life. but those, well ...

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Cool, thanks for the advice fellas.

How many people at the library actually study? I can't seem to tell the difference between those who're hardcore studying and those who're just there to casually read, but I guess it'll come with time.

Heh yeah, its almost something like that. I've never really thought of the library as a place to pick up (dunno why, just seemed weird i suppose). But then a friend of mine did it, so I figured I would give it a try.
