Alright, so I picked up this girl last week at a restaurant (she was a hostess) and got her digits and immediately started talking over the weekend. Everything is going fairly well and suddenly she stopped responding the following week (Mon) to my text message (text ended with me asking a question and she never responded back). I obviously tried to initiate again with another and no luck so I stopped messaging and let it be. Now me and my buddies at work are going again today for lunch at the same restaurant and my chances of seeing her are very likely. Any advice on how should I approach this if I see her. Im thinking of just letting it be and see what she says to me and act as if nothing happened.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

That's what I figured, but its just weird that it went from hot to cold (i know i didn't screw anything up via text). Usually, they slowly let you off and not completely drop it if they aren't interested lol.

Why didn't you ask her what time she was getting off of work, then tell you to accompany you for drinks?

@cword - Yepp definitely made some rookie mistakes then LOL, but considering she's 20 and im 25, I thought it would be easier gamee...

@Rex - I had some plans that tentative plans that night (which is cancellable), and I also thought I would seem to eager if I did ask her to accompany me for drinks after....

Don't ask her anything. Pretend as if nothing happened, say hi when you see her, smile but don't waste your time on her.
