"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

i am pretty new and i need some help from you, the dating experts. i'm just a regular joe, but i know what i like and what i do not. I dont use fancy tricks or psychology. i like to play football and video games.

i recentnly met a girl and took a liking to her. we started out pretty casual but its escalated faster than i expected.

Shes been:
1)telling me she likes me
2)touching me lots
3)giving me gifts
4)asking whos calling my cell
5)generally caring
6)compliments me for being sincere, etc.

i dont have her number but she asked for mine one day :)
i feel good cuz its the beginning of something wonderful here. But my problem is I have trouble interpreting signals. I dont usually pay attention to these things nor do i like to think much about them. i just do what feels right to me. when it comes to this kind of mushy stuff, i'm as dumb as a post though. anything short of "i love you" said outright, and i will prolly miss it.

oh btw i havent asked her on a date yet, though she keeps telling me she knows all kinds of wonderful places she wants to take me to. and valentines day is fast approaching.

Frankly, its a pretty big jumble to me.

1) any pointers/what do you folks think.

2)would the "hot cold" technique be viewed as offensive by a woman?

3) what if a woman applies the "hot cold" back?? just like football i dont like my strategies being used against me.

thanks guys

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
