"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I have a very bad case of oneitis. i am 16 years old. There is this one special girl i know that i really like but i dont know what to do to get her to be attracted again. It was going good during december but i think she lost her interest. She is one of the girls that most people from her school likes. She just naturally is social and fun to be with. The first month we met, she had one of my friends pursuing her so I did not make any moves but whenever she talked to me she kept eye contact and came in really close . She eventually asked me to her school formal dance and it went decently well she told her friends that she thinks im cute and wanted to go with me. I kissed her on the cheek during a slowdance and she had no response. I've been getting many mixed signals. When we went on a double date to the movies, i was scared to do anything but eventually i finally put my arm around her. She responded by holding my hand and making other moves on me. I didn't kiss her this time either even though i realized later on i could have. It was all going pretty well and we chatted alot over facebook during nights and video chatted too. It was going good as she replied fast and we had fun but friendly conversations. Sadly, my friend told her that i liked her alot without telling me. She said that i'm a good guy but she isn't looking for a relationship and she is taking a break from these things. This wasn't the first time she said this before. This guy who was pursuing her a month earlier was told this by her as well. But this guy was a creeper who nobody liked in our whole school. my friend asked if she would ever consider a relationship with me and she said "maybe i guess". After that we hung out a few times over the break.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

You didn't need to explain, this is such a typical situation. Leave her, go get other girls. It's taken so much time that you've probably missed your shot. Go out more, interact more with girls and hit the gym.

She isn't brave enough to tell you no. Not interested and you weren't confident enough to take her.
