Hey,guys I've been browsing these forums for a while now and it has really helped me.
Okay,so there's this girl in my class that I have a crush on. Out of the two years that I'm going to be spending of my college/high school, more than one year has elapsed. We've been in the same class for the whole time. There's only 7-8 months more and I've finally made my mind to stop procrastinating and ask her out. Thing is, the few times we have talked one on one was for school related stuff like borrowing a pen, asking how to solve a problem etc. However, whenever I crack jokes in the class, which is pretty often, everyone laughs and so does she. I've caught her staring at me a couple of times. When I look back at her,she looks down or looks away. I get the feeling that she too is interested in me.
I'm going to ask her out this week so here's what i intend to do.
She is always sitting with her group of 4 girls, herself included. I'll tell her I wanted to talk to her and ask her to come outside.
Once I've reached the place I where I can comfortably talk to her one on one,I'll ask her something along these lines:
Hey *her name*, I was going to (a)watch a movie (b)going to the beach
this weekend and I'd like you to join me.So when are you free?Saturday or Sunday?
Question 1: Should I hold her hand and lead her to the desired place.I don't know if she'll be comfortable with that since she doesn't really know me that well.
Question 2: Where do you guys think I should take her. The main purpose is that it should be fun and give me time to talk to her and get to know her better.
The thing about the beach is that its monsoon season and it might rain so the sand will get all wet and stuff which wouldn't be a good thing. Also, we might not be able to see the beautiful sunset if it gets cloudy and rains.
As far as the movie goes,I feel that if I'd take her there,we'd be watching the movie and we'll barely be talking which is the whole point since talking is the only way we'll get to know each other. I could solve that problem partially by taking her to a coffee shop afterwards.
