Need Guidance in Life

At one point in my life, I wanted to get a pHD in physics and work at a place like NASA to .. invent starship propulsion, ala Star Trek. Things that will really matter for the future of humanity. I wanted to make the future now.

I'm 18 now, and in the past few years, I have unbecome a nerd. I can now relate to other people, largely thanks to sites like SoSuave and mASF. Because of you guys, I have gotten into bodybuilding and taken care of the female and social parts of my life. I appreciate other things, especially business. I'll be going to college in 3 or 4 months.

My two options.. persue a career in business management or accounting and start a business or become an accountant.. make $$$. My other option: do what I always dreamed of, work torwards a pHD in physics and get a job working for the future. It feels like a little kid's dreaming versus the reality of the world. Big crossroad here.

Anyone else who has been at the point in life that I am in now, please respond, help me out.

Folow your dreams, I never give up the dreams, even if they are hopeless. I wanna be an actor and a musician. Lots of people tell me my dreams are crap and every kid has those dreams. Well i dont care, couse i got talent, and I am becoming a good singer, and a DJ. So your dreams are normal, and you should folow them. I would NOT suggest getting carrer in business management, thats a regular job, WE LIVE ONCE!~ Make your dreams a reality, become unique, become famous for you will never be forgoten.

you will lose sight of this, especially first semester freshman year - but always remember that your grades come first in college. you will regret blowing off that test and only getting a B in that class. and i also say follow the phd dream - you will be happier in the long run. good luck.

You won't get more money in accounting than in physics. And something that has to do with actual production is always safer than something that is meant to serve the production. And I say this studying business.

The best combination is to learn physics, then take a class in basic accounting when you're done. Then you got the most important part of the business classes, and can run a company if you want to!

dude, follow your dream and follow it now while you dont have a bunch of kids or a wife to make you rethink and down scale your dreams.
later, when you are working for nasa you can meet a really good woman who might work there too, enjoying the same things that you do.

there are tons of women who really love smart guys.
