"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hello,

So today I grabbed a woman's number at the mall, 7-8/10 as she passed me my phone back I noticed that she was wearing a ring on her wedding finger, she looked fairly young maybe early 20's. She wasn't acting very into me, but was continued the conversation, making eye contact and smiling every once in a while. To be honest, im not looking for anything serious. How should I proceed? Should I wait a couple days then call/txt or should I just initiate texts now (I was on my lunch and only had about 5 minutes to grab her number and leave) Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

My advise to you is to come up with better titles for your threads. My first instinct was to completely ignore this thread because the title didn't tell me anything.

Also, meet more women, avoid one-itis.

She'll probably ignore your first text because it's boring and kinda AFC.

That was a bad first text, dude. I suggest you use your texts very wisely and as few as possible. Save the yapping for the dates. Wait until Thursday afternoon and text her to go with you for a quick coffee on Friday afternoon.

Her response at this point will speak volumes as to her interest level.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Text is beyond bad.

It's best to keep the initial interaction short and interesting, and if possible, find something to tease her about or a nickname for her. That gives you a solid lead-in for your text or phone call.

Doesn't sound like that's the case here.

And she may just be a bored married b!tch who wants more male orbiters because her husband doesn't satisfy her attention cravings. I wouldn't invest too much energy.

Set something up with her, keep it short. No reply? fvck her. She flakes? fvck her.

You guys hit it off? FVCK her ;). That is of course, if you salvage whatever IL she has in you left after your first text.

well noted, once again, can I get some advice about what to say and what not to say to avoid sounding like a jackass again

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I normally dont tell people what to say to a girl. Thats on the man and how they execute it. But like I previously said, ask her what shes doing this weekend and plan something.

Keep it short and sweet dont beat around the bush

Id wait a couple hours before you ask though. Maybe even a day.. but you already initiated something

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

49au has a good idea with the nickname thing. From now on keep it light and playful. When you get her number tell her you are putting her under Mall Girl. Now you have a tease and a nickname for her.

"Hey Mall Girl, I'm thinking about grabbing a drink/coffee/whatever...wanna meet me at XXXX ?"

Very simple. This also tests her playfulness and sense of humor. If she has none, BZZZZZ...thanks for playing...Next.

Stuff like this will make it seem less of a do or die situation.
