Need a little advice

There's a girl I'm trying to DJ, but it's not really working out.

I think the main problem is that I'm not able to "flirt" very well. I need to be the leader and initiator of a conversation, as well as kino, but I find it difficult.

I have definately expressed that I'm interested in her, but I come across too strong. This works against me particularly in this situation because the girl is fairly conservative with her thoughts and won't just jump right into things.

I need some suggestions on how to improve this situation, as well as improving my skills in general.
