"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

To start off, I have been lurking here on and off for a couple of months. I have read bits of the bible and I have been trying to improve myself first. I am working out some and I am trying to display a positive image. I have many freinds that are girls and have had (failed relationships, ahhh my extremely afc days) with a few of them. I am comfortable with the fact that they are my friends and I have no plans to pursue a relationship with them. That said, I do want to meet some new girls and possibly go into a relationship. I am looking for more of a long term relationship here, not to get into their pants right away. That can wait awhile.

Okay, at the beginning of this schoolyear, while I was still an afc with pretty low confidence, I saw the freshman (I'm a sophomore) that I thoght was pretty. I pointed her out to a friend one day at lunch, as I have no classes with her, and he said he knew one of her guy friends. One day, my friend and I went over the the gril's lunch table, said hi to her guy friend and then proceeded to make introductions around the table. I was pretty quiet and I would guess I looked rather nervous. Blah blah, small talk follows and I do not really talk to my target or any of her friends. Even worse, I found out a few days later that her guy friend told her I like her and that she was not interested, basing it soley off my looks. I did not take it hard at the time, and just shrugged it off.

Anyway, I noticed one of this girls friends was rather pretty. I was working up courage to go up to her and say hi, but I found out she was the sister of one of my (girl) friends. That and the fact I didn't come off to well at the lunch table smashed any courage I had. I could have sworn this new girl made some eye contact in the halls with me more than once, but I did not pursue that.

Fast forward to the present. I no longer have a class with this girl's sister, and I never talked to her before outside that class, so I do not feel that would present a problem. Because of schedule changes at the semester, I see this girl (sister one) a bit more around the halls at school. Here is where I am wondering how exactly I should approach this. I have been introduced to her once, but I said no more than a quick hi. This was also many months ago. I have no clue if her sister has said anything about me to her, and quite frankly I could really care less. The thing is, do I say hi to her like I know her and like I would to any other girl I know, or do I go about introducing myself, blah and so forth? Also, she tends to travel in a pack and I rarely ever see her alone, but it does happen on occasion.

Also, she is not the only one I have my eye on. I figure at the very least she has some nice friends and the knowing her would open that pool up. I also know other girls who I could see having a relationship with, so I would say I do not have a case of one-itis. I had that once and I saw the stupidity in it.
Anyway, fire away guys. Give me criticism, advice, or whatever, I am all ears. :)

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

You're not getting anywhere by overthinking the situation. Grab your balls and talk to her next time you see her (preferably when she's alone or less friends).

If you want to build up courage, then just make eye contact and smile when you see her. She'll obviously notice. After doing this a few times (like twice) then say Hi when passing in the hall. If you can have a conversation at this point go for it. I'm assuming you know how to work a conversation if you've read the bible.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
