Alright so I have definitely noticed that with exs NC does make them go crazy and will end up contacting you. Atleast in my experience.

What I'm curious about is when used on a girl you are/were dating what kind of results have you guys gotten?

I know that no matter what the result is, it is for the best. Just curious if it usually ends up leading to a next or if they usually reach out and try to get your attention back.

I've had it work once but it was almost unintentional and also it wasn't a typical case.

What happened was I deactivated my Facebook for like 5 months after getting played hard by a HB8.

After moping for like a week I got back to the gym and did just a real big image change, grew my hair and beard etc got new car blah blah.

Reactivated my Facebook and put up some new pics, noticed she was one of the first people to "like" them. She texted me hour or two later. I converted to a root and messed around with her for a bit but never went further than that.

Any other time I've done it at most they will break NC with some BS just to see if you still like them but it rarely works the way guys think. I think there needs to have been a big change in the guy like appearance upgrade etc for them to come back keen for you

Dumped by a girl I dated for 2 years out of no where in March. NC for a month and she came back in a weird way after saying this was the happiest she's ever been without me and she felt I loved her more than she loved me...but she wanted to get back together after I basically told her to **** off.

We got back together but it wasnt the same I put all the effort in. She dumped me again about 2 weeks ago. Moral of the story don't take the ***** back if she comes back anyway.

If you dump them they will always want you back somewhere in their heart. Will they contact you? Not always. But will you still feel a strange sexual tension in the air when you and her see each other again after a long hiatus? Almost always.

Even if they dump, if you immediately go NC, they will sniff back around. Maybe just a "how are you doing" but they will be poking around, trying to get a feel for whether you are "mad at them" or maybe you can still "be friends". In that situation, always stay NC, knowing that it will drive them completely crazy. They will never forget it - it will always bug them a bit. If you show your hand, explain, give them closure, you will evaporate from their memory very quickly.

I moved out of town, landed the best job I've ever had and met a new chick who was even better and hotter than the ex.

The ex has moved on and recently got married. I haven't spoken to her since applying NC but am geniuenly happy for her.

I don't know about you, but I've never been able to go back and begin hitting it again with an ex where there was a real relationship, and not have the feelings pour back into the situation. It's not always mine either - sometimes it's them. As tempting as the "for old times' sake" bang may look, it's fraught with peril. I would never, ever recommend it.
Plus it allows them to think they still "have you" in their minds and feeds their self-superiority.

If they like you, you will hear from them when they haven't heard from you. When this happens you MUST try to hook up with them, if that is what you want. If she won't go out then all it means is that she needs some assurance that if she ever wanted you you would be good to go, since at the moment you are her back-up.

If you do the dumping, then yeah. There's plenty of exes who are still fvcking each other. How you manage to do so though is dependent on the logistics, there aren't any real 'one method works for all' type of thing. Just trust your instincts, don't be awkward, and escalate.
