Yea, it is rare. The closest experience I got was when I just have a good conversation with this girl. And I said something like "It would be nice to do all those things (outdoor stuff), wish I had a friend like you to do it with." Then she suddenly said, "Well, then you should have my phone number... " It took me by suprised, she offer her phone number to me. I didn't go further with this because she is married. Although it could very well be a platonic frienship hangout type thing, but I didn't want to play with fire.

I've went for the fclose and gotten numbers for later review. Neither method is garuanteed to work. I prefer to just go for it. This way I don't have to worry about her ever again. It either happens or it doesn't. I'm freed up without having to worry if she'll want to make plans for the following weekends and waste yet more of my time. Let them offer to meet you again, or move on. That's my theory.
