"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Avoiding the dating frame

Hey PDX, Johnnyboy and whoever else -

can you give me any other examples and or tips of how to avoid the "dating frame"?

Some examples of women that you recently spent time with (what did you do, how did you ask her to join you, etc) and successfully closed would be ideal.

Thanks guys -

Hi, Ronin, my pleasure. The other guys may disagree with what I am saying, as this is just my interpretation.

Let's be specific first. By "dating", we are referring to the common practise of time spent together by a man and a woman recently acquainted with each other. This is a pre-arranged meeting (not a pub/club approach) where you and she are the only people invited. If that's clear, then I will begin.

Avoiding the dating frame is more to do with your frame of mind than what she or others think. Think, for a second, about the way you and a woman are expected to behave on a date - for example, the man's responsibilities and the woman's.

You are NOT going out to impress this woman. You are NOT going out to find out what her best friend's sister's cat is called. You are NOT taking her out to the most romantic spots in your particular city or town.

You are going out to meet a woman in whom you may, over time, develop an emotional/sexual interest.

You go out thinking "what is she going to do to impress me/make me laugh/make me think etc?", rather than what you are going to do to make you like her.

I hope you're following, because, when I first became accustomed to thinking this way, it relieves so much pressure from you. You don't have to be the clown/joker/artist/poet for the night, you can just relax.

Once you are in that frame of mind, you are then in control. The dating frame requires you to supplicate (through entertaining, paying for things, etc) in order to gain the woman's approval. You lose control when you are in this frame of mind. By not thinking this way, you and she are equal when meeting.

Right, now that is established, I will tell you how I handle dates. On my last 6 "dates" (since mid-February when I found mASF), I have slept with 4 of the women (including having a 6-week relationship with one which I ended). One I messed up totally (for reasons I won't go into here as they are unconnected with what I am saying) and the other, I turned her down as I felt there was "bunnyboiler" potential in her. Of the 4 lays, 2 happened on the same night, 1 on the second night and 1 on the fifth night.

When I am on a "date" with a woman, I go Gunwitch (link). Simple as that. Read, understand and implement the Gunwitch Method. I also throw in a bit of ****y and funny, takeaways, some leading language and heavy use of kino (espoused by Gunwitch as part of his method anyway)

My goal is to establish my sexual identity straight away (which has the convenient habit of ignoring societal expectations of dates) and switch hers on. Know this, for it will serve you well....

A woman may wish to have a relationship with you if you "prove" herself to you over time. She may surrender to your charms. A woman WILL have a relationship if you wish if you have sex with her as soon as possible. Use Gunwitch, the only consistently successful method for getting what you want from "dates" (even though it was not specifically designed for that purpose).

So, in conclusion, you play the game for yourself, not to impress others. Show your sexual side and wait for her to impress you, not the other way around. The women you "date" want a man, not a stand-up comedian. I hope all this makes sense, and if it works for you, great.

My pleasure, Ronin. Just remembered one thing I did on Sunday night which always works well.

Has a woman ever told you on a "date" that she has thought of things to ask you before seeing you? I get this quite a lot (maybe it is an English thing).

If she does say this, I always say "I didn't come out to meet you with any questions in mind. I wanted to see how our conversation freeflowed". It sets up in her mind immediately that you have not come out to impress her, you have come out to make a judgement on her.

Really works for me. Hope that helps!

For the record, I love the "dating" situation. You have a few hours to weave your magic on a woman, and if you can get the balance right, you'll end the night a happy man feeling as if you have made little or no effort. And the feeling of satisfaction you get from knowing that, to get to that point, most uninformed men will have planned the evening out meticulously and tried to be on "top form", and you've made little or no effort is fantastic. ;)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Johnnyboy - can you explain what a "takeaway" is and give examples of "leading language".

I read Gunwitch and it almost seems too simple.

Any advice on getting yourself and keeping yourself in that "sexual state".

Thanks.

A takeaway is when you temporarily withdraw verbal or non-verbal contact with a woman while in her presence. I think I first read about the idea in DYD.

For example, if a woman is holding your hand or kissing you, stop without explanation and look totally unphased by stopping. David DeAngelo was right in that it ramps up the attraction a woman feels for you - it communicates two messages at once, a) I'm in control of myself, and b) she will not likely have seen a man take it away before, she's used to men hanging onto her every word.

"Leading language" is teasing language. So, if a woman says something which is open to misinterpretation, you accuse her (in a ****y and funny way) of trying to seduce you, and you just say "You're more than just a sexual object. You have feelings." Stuff like that.

Gunwitch may sound "simple", but logically it is perfect. I have not yet come across something quite so powerful, and for me it has produced results at will while on "dates". It is a strategy to be used in isolation with a woman - make sure you get her alone before you try this (alone as in none of your or her friends are able to interrupt the flow).

Regarding obtaining and maintaining a sexual state, simply imagine you are lying naked in bed next to her naked body and you are about to have sex with her. As you know, at this point, your whole demeanour and way of communicating changes (pretty much as Gunwitch describes). Act that way, and she begins to have sexual thoughts about you. Watch for a sudden and dramatic increase in kino from her to you.

It's not meant to be a tough guy frame.

If meeting a woman for the first time, I never think of it as a date. It is a meeting to establish whether I will find her of sexual and/or emotional interest or not. I am not going there to impress her with my AFCness or neediness - I am going there to make a subjective judgement on this woman.

Hence, no dinner-buying (even if we are going out for dinner), no paying for the drinks all night, no paying for the clubs all night. It is a meeting of two equals.

I am not "taking her out". We have agreed to meet each other.

"Dating" is where the man supplicates and tries to "nice" his way into the affections of a woman through the conventional means demanded by women. That's not a game I want to play.

BTW, if a woman describes it as a date, I will specifically tell them it is not a date as she is not my girlfriend. I only take girlfriends out on dates. I say we are meeting to see if we get on mono-a-mono and have a laugh. Most women are intrigued enough by my point of view and are not put off meeting me - it makes me different.

And if one thing mASF teaches you, it is "what makes you different gets you noticed".

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Just remember these guys and guys equally were here before the sellout book was written. Not that I don't like the sellout author, I've talked to him and he seems like a decent guy actually a good guy, and in another life a fricking NICE guy LOL.
