"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

MySpace says she's (my girlfriend) "single"

What do you guys think of my girlfriend having herself listed as single on myspace? We just explicitly made our relationship bf/gf a few weeks ago although we've been together a few months. I saw that she has logged on to her profile page within the last fewdays but hasn't made any changes for months.

Would you guys be concerned? I'm not, but am considering confronting her about it.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I'm probably being ridiculous. I don't use myspace so I don't really know the ins and outs of it. Thanks for the responses

Do you update your MySpace profile every time you get a girlfriend? Is MySpace that ingrained in your way of life that you feel a need to make sure your profile is updated every hour of every day? If I were you, I'd be more worried if her profile listed her as "In a relationship" and then she updated her profile to "Single, and looking" sometime during your relationship. On the other hand, I'm not concerned about what goes on in MySpace. And neither should you.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

i think that if you ask her to change it, it would show extreme possesiveness on your part and being to concerned with small things that should be overlooked.

I agree that it would seem insecure to ask her to change it. I forgot to add that in her comments the first thing she says is that she loves being single. Probably doesn't change anything, bu the message she is sending out is clearly that she is single. I may joke about it if she doesn't change it in the next month or so. I know I'm being insecure even thinking about this, but its a little annoying to go to your gf's myspace profile and see her stating how she loves to be single.

don't worry about it too much, unless she's on there all the time.

if it really bothers you, make your own myspace profile, and add her as a friend. then you can poke a little fun at her, just say jokingly "single huh? ;) "
or something like that. also leave little mushy comments on her page to ward off other guys.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Im going to be really honest here, ive experienced alot with girls and ive been taken for a fool before and im going to tell you something from the heart, from a man to another man...... You let her know that you are single too. You have no time for games and there are ALOT of quality girls out there. dont waste your time with this one who clearly states that shes single. If she was really interested in you.. she would clearly state that shes taken. Dont ever let a women take you for a fool.. Worry about yourself and care about only you until the day that the "right" girl comes along. You will know when "shes" a keeper. until then... Keep your heart protected. Myspace is for friends but its clearly a online hook up spot.

She likes the attention.

Girls are all about MySpace. She wants to still be able to pick and weed out the bazillion guys filling up her inbox with friend requests and solicitations.

If you're the one having sex with her, who cares? Jealousy in a man is a counter-productive waste of time.
Copy that. You should get worried when a guy leaves a comment saying "Wow you really rocked my world last night! Thanks for the good time" Other then that I wouldn't worry. If you occupy her physical time, who gives a f*ck about her internet time.

LMAO

I dated this girl over the summer, it was only after she joked about it that I realized that I hadn't changed it. I didn't care at the time either. People don't update that stuff often. Stop worrying.

there are lots of dumb@$$ses on myspace.

my friend's exboyfriend used to put single on his profile thing too, you know why? not because he didn't like her or anything like that, but if a girl thats better looking than her comes around and leaves some comments on his page, it makes him seem open to be hit on. he takes it as an ego boost, until one day he did find someone better looking ,guess what he dumped my friend and banged the other chick, they are "together" but his myspace thing still says hes single.

then again, maybe your girl just didn't notice it yet.

I think she's playing games. Dump her. This is only the beginning of the end. More problems will come later.

You know, my MSN profile still lists me as "High School student". I should really change it, because I don't want some underage chick to start hitting on me.

Nah, cant be bothered.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
