I deleted my myspace a long time ago... I really got tired of all the ads and spamming going on over it. Some people really like it for keeping in-touch with others. I on the other hand prefer my cell phone and email...
I would like to delete mine, but the one thing that keeps me on is the music. When I find a band a like, they usually have other similar bands on their page, and they in turn have others with music like theirs. There's so much new music I've found because of myspace. Plus there's bulletins people post tell of interesting events coming up. That's what keeps me on, otherwise I'd be gone. I used to be able to meet a few girls here and there, but that ended some time ago, now they neither contact me nor respond to my messages.

I deleted my account. There's just too much spam on there. You get these friend messages from fake profiles, which just happen to always have hot girls in the pictures. Then, when you go to their profile it's some girl wanting you to watch her webcam. You'd have better luck trying to meet women on the street than on MySpace.

Yeah I found myself on myspace just for the music after awhile. I wouldn't even respond to messages. i deleted it cause it was pointless after awhile. I was into myspace for awhile and it was addicting. Best thing I ever did was delete it.

Exactly. I get them every day. It's pretty much a given that if a hot girl contacts you on the internet, it's a scam. Especially when she says "I think you're cute" even though your profile is blank and you have no pictures on your profile.

Get Facebook, its so much better. I admit i've never attempted to meet a girl through it, but its good for the marketplace and keeping in touch with your REAL friends.
Ive never had a myspace its not for me...My friends have told me to get one pleaded i do so...but to me its whack....im sorry men i had to say it...To much fuzz even a lil babie can have one .....and all my ex's are their even worse...
People changing their status back and for...people getting angry why ur not in their to eight or whatever....some guy named tom is the king in your myspace for some reason...
The place wher u meet new friends...lets see a doctor who is a pedofile...little girlz that is so insecure that wants to be in serious relationship...A guy bragging about his gun....people who put their friends picture cuz their uggly ass fvck...

Myspace is making people so narcissistic. It's like everyone is vying for being the biggest attention *****, guys and girls. Some of these chics literally have 50 photos of themselves taken in the same mirror at different angles. It's really ridiculous. I expect that kind of dumb sh*t from teens, but I'm talking women in their late 20s and 30s who should be worrying about their careers, having a family of their own and what not, instead of attention whoring on myspace.

I have myspace but I think about getting rid of it sometimes.
I HATE the fact that everyone I've ever known can stay in contact with me (by following the chain of people we have in common). Some people I certainly don't want to stay in touch with.
And the whole thing is very high schoolish. Everyone, checking to see who you are friends with are.
