My suicide rant

One of my girlfriends friends told her he was going to kill himself, I guess today he slit his wrists and finally did. She was all like :'(

Forgive me if im a jackass but , GREAT one less jackass on this earth! He did it over a freakin girl :rollseyes: , common people no one is worth you own life. If you are stupid enough to kill youreslf then you deserve it.

So before you even consider it realise no one or nothing is worth your own life.

Personally I think this kid just wanted atention or he wouldnt of slit his wrists he would have shot himself in the head. Im not saying suicide is good just wtf are you thinking if you are even considering it.

For one before i just went and did that id go have fun doing dangerous **** and die from excitment.. suicide is just dumb! I had to get this off my chest arghhhh....

I've had a couple chicks call me up and say they want to kill themselves, and it pisses me off too. There's people in third world countries stepping on rusty nails then just wrapping their foot up and going on to pick up scrap metal to survive, and they're b!tching about a guy not liking them. It's BS.

I agree hwole heartedly, suicide is but one thing. To give up....
and if your so weak that you see that as the final solution then you wouldnt have made a differnce in this world anyway.
but one thing, its wery hard to define what would legitimate a suicide, suicide is usualy an escape from pain. But people react differntly to this, but again I totaly agree with you. killing yourself because a girl doesnt like you is complete bullsh#t, if you do that you only show how low a human being can sink....

I can see where you're coming from wh01, but someone killing themself is still tragic. Think of the kid's family, his close friends, and everyone he's come in contact with. I really wouldn't call it great... and I definitely wouldn't tell this to many other people, as they might label you as an @sshole with no feelings or empathy.

It's a sad day in age when teenagers with such potential think there's no way out except killing themselves.

Suicide is for cowards and they should know this and aknowledge that they're cowards for thinking those thoughts.

If the person is truly depressed and obviously seriously suicidal, there's no use by giving advice or talking to them, because a man's mind is made up........

Really? I can't see where he's coming from at all.

For all of you guys who are saying "good riddance, once less ***** left on earth to take the easy way out when things get hard," you couldn't be more wrong. Maybe this guy killed himself because a girl didn't like him, but maybe he had a chemical imbalance in his brain that kept him from being happy. Maybe he was having family problems, maybe one of his friends had just died. There were most likely other factors.

It's disgusting when somebody commits suicide and all you guys can do is insult him. Think about his family and friends, and how much trouble they're having dealing with the loss of "one less jackass."

Wrong. If somebody tells you they're going to commit suicide, it's a cry for help. My mother's a therapist, so she's told me what to do. You need to get the person help right away. Their mind isn't made up. They're most likely scared/angry/depressed/unsure. If they have a chemical imbalance that causes them to be depressed, they can take medicine to fix that. If they're having family problems, there's always therapy.

Well damn I have been hearing about a lot of suicides latley.

My friend gave me a call becuase some guy hit a power pole by her house. He did it on purpose when i was at work i heard people talking about it. he was goin bout 60 and bam into the pole and he was barley alive and told teh cops he was trying to kill himeslf becuase girl problems...

what the hell is with people killing themselves or trying to over a girl damn...

Honestly ask yourself, how much do you know about suicide? Have you been reading clinical studies that have shown nine times out of ten that suicides are due to "weakness"

I'll admit, it's logical, it lets you not have to feel bad, and it makes you feel supirior.

Who knows, maybe a suicide here or there really is due to "weakness of character" (Whatever the hell that is) but 90% of suicides in the world are due to a little thing called mental illness . The most common of which among suicide victims is called depression.

Who1987, If you don't want to feel sorry for this guy, thats OK. You didn't know him at all except as a friend of your g/f. But please, do not b*tch to your g/f about how stupid and "weak" her friend was. Even if you still feel that way, telling your girl that makes you look like an ass.

Do me favor: do something take her mind off this guy and show her a good time.
