just a thought

my house is not what you would call a woman's hot spot.. I ripped the carpet out, every last ounce of it (i hate caret) and put in wooden floors... I portriats of old swing bands and older movies in my living room.. it's dim set (like a jazz club).. because that's what I LIKE. **** if a woman doesn't like it she can rent a hotel room and pay for it her damn self. I'm here more than she is and until she wants to go to the furniture gallery and buy some new **** she can shut up.

A valid point, backbreaker.

I just now realized that this post is coming off as if I am going to decorate my room with anything to make it more 'girl-friendly', but that is not the case. I want suggestions that you guys think would be good, and I use what I like.

Let me clarify, I'm not trying to seek the approval of females.

Make sure to have a decent tv and a nice dvd collection... I always invite girls over for movies and I like having a nice selection to choose from. Nice classy posters and not ones of Brooke Burke naked lol... I have martini glasses and other classy things in my room. You wanna separate yourself from all the other guys out there. Another thing, I have travel books to show women that I'm an adventurer. Your room represents who you are... Another thing stock it with some nice liquor too :)

Actually what I did.. or used to do when I wasn't as fortunate as I am now.. Is I had a PC hooked up to my TV and I just downloaded movies to the PC, and I would turn the TV into a monitor and play the Movie..saves a **** load of money and you can have an unreal movie collection and it saves space.

I'm a book fanatic, so I have books everywhere, and horse racing memorabilia.. Nice sound system for my jazz/swing music... If you really want to do it get you a nice TV projector.. I got my first one when I was 20... I've been hooked sense.

My actual room is as basic as basic gets.. I'm never in there. Egyptian Cotton Sheets as well as a Silk Set of sheets for when..."company" comes over..but truth be told, I sleep outside (on the patio) or on the couch.. wherever I happen to be at when I doze off. **** it.

I keep drinks... for company but except the wine with my dinner or the iwne cooler when I'm watching a football game or getting ready to go out, I really don't drink myself anymore.

Have food. Keep something that you can cook.

I have a couple of pets (2 dogs, a parrot and some pet fish) so they all have their spot in the house.. however i"ve had my pets for so long that until you actually see the pets you wouldn't pets lived there. All of them are trained (you can't train fish).. they keep me company and they all have their own personalities.. even the fish when you watch them enough.

My weakness has been for a while old time classic movies. One trait I got from my dad. So in my living/entertainment room there are posters..which I have framed so they look more professional, of Sinatra, Humphrey Bogart, Sidney Pointer, the rat Pack, Julie London & Casablanca.

More so than anything.. keep it about you. don't' be afraid to be different.

Good sexy music available. The best thing is obviously burn your own compilation of your favorite music.
Lava lamps.
Large comfy sofa.
Must have some wine and alcohol in general handy.
Big a$$ bed, big enough for variety in positioning.
Big throw rug for special occasions.
Some interesting books or magazines on your table in the living room.
Have a camera handy.
Always have some scented massage oils handy.
And have a couple of places throught your pad within easy reach to store your condoms.
