I've always found that the person who is accusing someone of cheating is the person that is doing the cheating. I wouldn't be surprised if your lady friend is actually cheating on you, or thinking about it.

Two years together makes this a very serious LTR. I would not waste my time with a hot and cold, night and day girl. The drain on my life would be too much. I suggest you talk to her about what is really going on, she will probably ramble on about something blah, blah, blah avoiding the real truth. At this stage, it is usually too late. Time to move on.

It's actually a lot simpler. He posted from a friend's work computer, to give a pretense of being impossible to trace, whereas the plan was for him to be called on inappropriate use of company resources. That way, the friend would get pissed, go through the browsing history, find the thread, read what was posted, and complain to his mother (because if he's pissed he wouldn't want to talk to him directly).

His mother would get worried about how the relationship of those two was going, somewhat inquire, and filter out that he was worried about the girlfriend thinking he cheated, but without directly confronting her. this has the added benefit of coming from an authoritative source (the mother of the friend), while not making him admit or deny everything, thus keeping the upper hand in the relationship.

Quite clever, really. And he would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling forumgoers!

I don't have a problem with Resuce Mission style.

I was in a relationship with a chick for 18 months a couple years back. One day UP next day DOWN.

It was rubbish.

Well, I didn't learn to well, because my next relationship was shorter and like UP one minute DOWN the next, and turned me into a total AFC for a while.

I'm still in recovery mode and back in bootcamp - even if I am past 40.

So - some harsh reality never hurt anyone as long as the comments to go with it are articulate and well put.
