"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Whats going on fellas. This is my first post and it is a bit on the afc side but it is a question that has been on my mind. I've been dating this girl for about 2 months now and my birthday just came up but she didnt get me anything, although i told her she didnt really have to, but i thought that at least she would get me a card. What do you guys think, should i call her out on it?

hm, "call her out on it" seems a bit odd.

Did she KNOW it was your birthday? Exactly what kind of a discussion did you have about it? Did she just forget? Did you even get a 'happy birthday' ?

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about the birthday so much as the interest level... like, how high can her IL be if she doesn't care about your birthday?
