"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

He is 18 years old. He has never gotten a BJ or had sex. I think he may have gotten a kiss. But definately NO MAKEOUT sessions.

He is somewhat overweight. He works out doing the SAME ROUTINE EVERYTIME! Never increasing in weight. How does he expect to change if he keeps doing the same thing over and over and over again?

His hobby is soccer. He dedicates his LIFE to play soccer. However, he plays soccer BY HIMSELF! Practicing the SAME THING everyday! He doesn't start or play on his HS varsity. He is going to be a senior next year and may not even make the team. He is reconsidering even joining the team.

He wants to be a professional soccer player but doesn't believe in himself, nor his skills. He practices WAY TOO much doing the same things. When he messes up (which happens quite often) he puts himself down.

He makes the most bizzare excuses, for why he doesn't play well. The most recent one was that he said the name of a car, and then he didn't play so hot. Now, he never wants to say that word again! Others weird things are that if he steps on one area of the driveway he won't play well (because one day when he stepped on it, he didn't play well). On and on with weird and bizzare excuses.

All he does is STAYS HOME! With the exception of going to school and work, he NEVER, and I truly mean NEVER wants to leave his house! Guess what he wants to do! Practice soccer BY HIMSELF doing the SAME THING EVERYTIME!

I think everyone is fed up with him. Even his parents, who are starting to put him down. They are telling him that he won't be proffesional. They are creating a negative environment for him. The same environment which he calls home and never wants to leave.

He does not have any friends, with the exception of me. Well, he is not really a friend. He very disrespectful towards EVERYONE and pushes people away, even his only friend. He wants to live life by himself and NEVER EXPERIENCE LIFE!

Sometimes he says that he wants to go out. When time comes, he chickens out! Chickens out of LEAVING HIS HOUSE! Leaving him in this endless cycle.

Why would he do this?

Well, it is due to his isolationism.

Avoid staying home like the PLAGUE! This guy truly does not get out, nor does he want to sarge! Well he wants to but DOESN'T!

For those of you that are waiting to sarge after you are done reading EVERYTHING there is to know about seduction, think about this guy. There is way too much information on seduction for you to read everything. By the time you are done, your life will pass away!

Now, lets pretend that this guy actually does improve his skills and becomes the best soccer player in the world! What is he going to do? Stay at HOME! He may be the best but no-one will know! He is sheltered in his life. He wants to live there for the REST OF HIS LIFE! Meaning, he will live with his parents until they perish away.

He may get a FEW chances with women, but he will CHICKEN OUT! Just like he CHICKENED OUT on LIFE! When he is too old to do anything, he will look back on his life, in the SAME HOUSE, filled with REGRET!

And before I wrap this up, I want to finish with one question:

Do you want this to happen to you?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

From having taken several psychology classes in college, I tell you straight up- your friend has some bad psych disorsers. That thing about attributing "not playing well" to stepping on a place in the ground and such... if he doesnt change, that is eventually gonna develope into real serious mental disorders.
give em a wake up call or something, or hes fu**d.

What do you suggest? I already beat the $hyt out of him once for being like that. I thought, that'd wake him up, but no luck.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Not AFC. OCD. That's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Look for other rituals he does all the time. It's up to his parents to drag him to a shrink. Not ur problem.

The thing about people that AFC is that they wont change immediately. For them to even BEGIN to change, there have to be triggers set off in their lives, that will change their minds. Change comes from within, outside influences are nothing if deep inside himself he doesnt connect the dots.
He seems paranoid too, which at least subconciosly, will make him resist "helping hands" from other people who see him as inadequate. Beating him up may have made him even more adamant about sticking to his guns.
I really dont know how to snap him out of it. All I know is that the conditions in his life have to be appropriate to trigger his mind, and give him that spark that will motivate him to change. If those conditions are not there, then hes stuck in neutral.

you can't change a man in few days...few months or even decades

i guess you're either his good friend that wants to fix him or you despise this guy so much that you only see his negative side.
i say just let him be man, he is only 18, people can change and will change according their own will, not their parents or not even you.

i have a friend who was kinda geeky through high school and like many other people, never kissed or made out with anyone...he was really into sports (soccer, rugby n cricket etc) but hardly played them, just into his stats and stuff...

he got into law school and guess what? he changed...he still loves his sports but he started to dress differently, became very active (socially) etc...and last yr, a girl (i say HB8) that he used to have crush on since HS, kissed him at a party and now they're going out together!

so as for your friend...he will change, dramatically if HE WANTS TO...you can't tell him what to do:down:

Only delicate people?? Never heard that.

Oh well, asperger's syndrome (which I had) and OCD and autism are all shades of the same spectrum . . .

Whatever, enough armchair diagnosis. As Sigmund Freud would say, "That boy ain't right!" There's more than AFCdom going on here.

Hey Harp, I think somebody programmed the Random Postmodern Essay Generator to post here pretending to be a person! That's kinda cool, actually.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

To Chandidas and Phyzzle and some other dude.
hey man, sorry if offended you...i was just telling the guy who started this thread, that his friend doesnt need anybody's help.

as for asperger syndrome, its not a disease! they are absolutely normal, you can say its case of extremely shy ppl.

im not making fun of anyone or making any stupid diagnosis as its against what i study for...
