Hey boys,
Well I posted about ten days ago, about my girlfriend of 2 years basically just dumping me out of the blue (or so I thought, I should have read the signs). We were supposed to go to Europe May 1st, so that was a bummer. A trip we had planned for so long together, gone and in the books. Not to mention I lost 1000 bucks on cancellation fees of flights and tour.
Anyways, I just wanted to say that for all those going through a similar situation, life does go on, and it goes on fast! After she dumped me, I got laid twice in two nights, and although I'm physically over her, I'm feeling better emotionally.
I don't expect myself to get over her in a day, a week, or even a month, as she was truly my first love. However, once we get back in that mindset that we are the prize, and other women WILL find you attractive, you get on the horse and get back out there.
Don't feel sorry for yourself, although you might sit and wallow for a day or even a week, pull yourself together and realize the value of exactly WHO you are, and if some girl doesn't think you're worth it, then screw it.
Live your life, it will not only make you feel better, but it is also the best revenge on the ex that left you. Walk away with a smile, and know that better things are ahead.
