Can you imagine a music video like this being made in today's climate?

Or how about a movie with these type of scenes:

In today's climate, one would say that these people would need to see a shrink, lol! What is crazy today was normal a few decades ago.

Those are some damn glorious harmonies in that Huey Lewis song. Sh1t would never be made today either.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Let’s fix this thread:

I'm not sure if this beats Selena's video:

But it might be a close second.

However, back on topic of 80s music videos......

Here is a wierd 80s music video:

This has 249M views, which is rather high for an 80s music video. Do not see that this was "propped" up by any recent movies or TV-show referrencing that music.

This Kate Bush music video "Running Up The Hill" is also an 80s music video, but it was propped up by Stranger Things episode 4 as being integral to the plot story-line (ie and delivering a major punch the way in which it was delivered):

If this music video was not propped up by Stranger Things, it would likely still be sitting at 20 Million views or even less. Look at her other song Cloudbusting. It was only referenced in one episode on Handmaid's Tale (2019 - season 3, episode 11), and near the end of the movie Palm Springs (2020)

Just the first part where he kicks away the gay guy...even before he hires the blonde bombshell would be enough to create outrage nowadays.
